Copper Valley HOA Meeting Notes

September 13, 2016

In attendance: Jeff, Raegan, Dan, Becky, Michelle & Carolee

1.       Calendar items

a.       Next board meeting: 7 pm November 1^st at Becky’s

2.                   Budget

a.       Financial report:  Looking ok.  Final warning sent to two owners.  Two accounts at collections attorney.

3.                   Discussion items

a.       Landscaper review

1.       Dead trees- Board will remove trees and fill holes with dirt and grass seed.  Jeff to choose some dates to do the work and let board know.

2.       Bids for snow removal and next summer lawn care from other companies:  Jeff will get a bid for snow removal from his friend and let us know.  Becky will ask someone she knows for recommendations.  Current company has already provided a bid.

2. Security cameras follow up:  board still not satisfied with install on camera at west gate.  Carolee to call Jonathan and find out what needs to be done to get a new pole, have wires run inside the pole, get conduit buried leading up to the pole.  South gate camera and wires are ok.

3. Fire pit clarification: CCR 2.11 prohibits “setting open fires (other than properly supervised and contained barbecues).”  Board interprets this to allow fires in a contained fire pit, fire place, or chiminea fire place.  No open barrel burning or burning of trash is allowed. 

4. Yard fines/warning letters                                                                                                                                           
1. August letter follow up:  three homes still in violation.  Fines to be issued.
2. September letters:  two reminder letters to be sent

5. Friends of Scouting door to door campaign:  ok to contact previous donors, no door to door allowed.

6. Gate code to be changed in October
